beautiful armchair, model Karen. Designed by Arnold Madsen and Henry Schübel and produced by Bovenkamp, Netherlands 1960. Arnolds madsen was contracted by Bovenkamp in the late 1950s. He helped Bovenkamp to intergrate danish influence and craftsmanship into their furniture making. The chair has an oak frame and teak wood armrests. The fabric has been refurbished in a fresh ivory Bouclé fabric. The frame has retained its beautiful original patina.
